In most cases, yes. Pupil dilation allows your consultant to examine the back of your eye thoroughly. The effects typically wear off within 4-6 hours. We recommend bringing sunglasses and arranging transport home.

We'll perform a comprehensive series of tests including visual acuity, corneal mapping, retinal scans, and tear film analysis. Your pupils will be dilated with drops — this is painless but causes temporary light sensitivity.
Your pupils may remain dilated for 4–6 hours. Bring sunglasses and arrange a lift home if you prefer not to drive. Near vision will be temporarily blurry — this is completely normal.
